Mr. Fentriss has been an investment banker and a banker for over 30 years. He began his career with Crestar Financial Corporation in 1977, managing a variety of areas, including strategic planning, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, and operations. In 1984, Mr. Fentriss started the nationally ranked merger and acquisition division for Crestar. He successfully completed more than 25 major transactions for Crestar, acquiring assets exceeding $4.5 billion, and hundreds of transactions for the Bank’s customers. In 1992, Mr. Fentriss co-founded the nationally ranked Baxter Fentriss and Company. In 2003, Mr. Fentriss joined Anderson & Strudwick and became President of Anderson & Strudwick Investment Corporation. While there, he successfully developed and built a nationally ranked financial institution investment-banking group. Additionally, he is a former Chairman of Valley Bank in Moreno Valley, CA. He is Chairman of Progress Bank, Tampa, Florida and a Director of Gateway Bank, FSB, San Francisco, CA, ICB Financial, Ontario, CA, and Commonwealth Bankshares, Inc., Norfolk, VA.
Mr. Fentriss graduated with honors from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He received his Master of Business Administration, with honors, from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition, Mr. Fentriss graduated, with honors, from the Graduate School of Banking, Louisiana State University.
Timothy A. Anonick, President

Mr. Anonick has been an investment banker and a banker for over 25 years. In 2003, he became a Senior Vice President at Anderson & Strudwick and helped develop and build a nationally ranked financial institutions investment-banking group. Prior to joining Anderson & Strudwick, he was President and CEO of Anonick Financial Corporation, focusing on merger, acquisition, and financing transactions for financial institutions. Anonick Financial Corporation was ranked fifth nationally in the number of branch acquisition deals advised from 1995-2004. Prior to founding his company, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Peoples Bank of Virginia for five years. He has also worked with two "Big Six" public accounting firms as an account manager for some of the largest banks in the Mid-Atlantic and a number of community banks. He also was a Federal Reserve Bank Examiner, examining banks throughout the Fifth District for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Mr. Anonick has served as Vice President in the Richmond Chapters of the Virginia Bankers Association and the Bank Administration Institute. He is Vice Chairman of Progress Bank, Tampa, Florida, and a director of First Bank, Williamstown, New Jersey.
Mr. Anonick graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the Virginia Society and American Institute of CPAs.
Geoffrey C. Abbott, Senior Vice President

Mr. Abbott was a commercial banker for over 25 years in the United States, Asia, and the Middle East. His positions included branch, regional, and chief executive responsibilities with New York and foreign banks. For the past twelve years, he has been a banking consultant in California focusing on bank sales and acquisitions as well as loan reviews, due diligence, and bank evaluations. Mr. Abbott served as Chairman of California Security Bank, San Jose, California.
Mr. Abbott graduated from Yale University with a B.A. and studied International Business at CCNY Graduate School of Business.
Peter C. Kallop, Senior Vice President
Mr. Kallop has thiry-two years of investment banking and financial consulting experience in the financial services industry. He has held senior positions with investment banking firms primarily serving the commercial banking and thrift industries including Anderson & Strudwick, Hoefer & Arnett, Inc., Baxter Fentriss and Company and KPMG Peat Marwick’s Capital Strategies Group. He specializes in arranging and negotiating mergers and acquisitions. He also has extensive experience in the valuation of financial institutions. Mr. Kallop has been involved in more than 200 public offerings involving financial institutions throughout the U.S.
Mr. Kallop graduated from the University of Virginia’s Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business with his M.B.A. He also graduated from Princeton University with a B.A.
